Best Practices

Arranging your installation

Simply purchase your kit by calling our Sales team and within 4 hours of placing your order, one of our experienced Customer Service team will call to arrange a convenient time, date and location for the install to take place. With our own engineers covering Scotland and Northern England and a network of vetted and qualified sub-contractors covering the rest of the UK, Atlas Personal Communications Ltd offer true nationwide coverage and installation within 5 working days. There is a lead time of 3 days from booking to ensure the logistics regarding kit and engineer availability. We are unable to install on public highways or NCP Car Parks, due to insurance and health and safety issues. We require cover in most instances to work on the vehicle, this is to prevent cancellations due to inclement weather or possible damage to vehicles for the same reason.

Pre-installation inspection

On arrival and before commencing the installation our engineer will perform a thorough check of the vehicle(s) electrical systems and confirm the placement of the new equipment with you.

Car kit installation

Atlas Personal Communications Ltd only install to the latest MPT standards and only employee experienced, qualified engineers insured to work on any vehicle. Even our most basic installation package includes non-damaging components, a covert antenna and audio muting where available.

Post-installation inspection

Installs should only take around 60 to 90 minutes and once completed our engineer will test your new equipment and perform a final check on the vehicle(s) electrical systems to ensure everything is working as it should before leaving site.

Training and demonstration

Atlas Personal Communications Ltd use a rigorous selection process only employing engineers with proven ability, professionalism and customer service skills. On completion of the installation you will be offered a full demonstration of your new equipment and our engineer will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

In the unlikely event of a fault developing with your kit or installation you are guaranteed a fast call-out completely free of charge for the duration of the equipment's warranty (minimum of 12 months warranty see above Terms & Conditions's for further information).
