Exchange / Returns
Atlas Personal Communications Ltd are happy to exchange goods when returned within 14-days from the date of purchase and where the goods are in their original condition and sealed packaging. Any difference in price will be charged or debited to the original payment card prior to shipping the exchange goods. We provide Insured and Recorded delivery on all our products. The cost of returning goods must be met by the customer and refunds or exchanges cannot be processed until the goods have been received. Atlas Personal Communications Ltd recommends insured and recorded delivery is used when returning goods.
Hands Free Car Kits Not Installed by Atlas Personal Communications Ltd
If your new car kit is not installed professionally the manufacturer's warranty is void. Atlas Personal Communications Ltd strongly recommend that you test your new kit before installation as it cannot be returned after it has been installed. Please make sure the installer follows the installation instructions carefully and reads all safety information. Atlas Personal Communications Ltd are not liable for any costs relating to installation, use or removal where we have not installed the car kit.
Hands Free Car Kits Installed by Atlas Personal Communications Ltd
Installation
When an installation is booked the details provided relating to the vehicle and handset are crucial to ensuring the right equipment is dispatched. Please ensure the details you provide are correct and that you are available at the time and date the installation is booked. If you are unavailable at the time or date specified or any of the details supplied are incorrect please inform Atlas Personal Communications Ltd by phone or email at least 24hrs in advance. Where the customer is unavailable at the agreed time and date or the wrong handset or vehicle has been specified, Atlas Personal Communications Ltd reserve the right to charge a £30 (ex VAT) cancellation fee.
Waiting time
The engineer will wait 30 minutes after the installation booking time, if the vehicle is not available the engineer will have to leave to go to his next appointment, a cancellation fee will then usually be levied.
Testing
In order for our engineer to test the new equipment before leaving site, your radio key code and handset must be available at the time of the installation. If unavailable, our engineer will not be able to test the function of the equipment which could cause inconvenience and incur additional engineer fees should a service call be required.
Upgrades
When upgrading an existing installation, wherever possible and unless specified by the customer we will use the existing fittings or components. This is to minimise the potential of damage to the vehicle and to reduce costs wherever possible. All existing equipment will be tested for function and safety. If parts are not required during an upgrade the parts should be returned to Atlas Personal Communications Ltd within 14 Days for a full refund.
Bluetooth Car Kits
When placing an order for a Bluetooth car kit please take care to ensure it is compatible with your handset. The Atlas Personal Communications Ltd Sales Team can offer free impartial advice on choosing the correct kit for your handset. The installation of a Bluetooth car kit does not include the setup of a handset not supplied by Atlas Personal Communications Ltd. Atlas Personal Communications Ltd cannot accept responsibility for any problems arising with the handset or with 'Pairing' the handset to the Bluetooth kit. The instruction manual provided with your handset will provide information on pairing Bluetooth devices.
Service calls
All kits supplied and installed by Atlas Personal Communications Ltd carry a 30-day [warranty?] on labour where a site visit is required or one year where the vehicle is brought to an Atlas workshop. During the manufacturer's warranty, service calls will be made by Atlas Personal Communications Ltd free of charge where the kit is found to be at fault. In some instances a payment of £35 (ex VAT) will be required by Atlas Personal Communications Ltd prior to booking a service call if we believe the fault to be a user error or a fault outside of the manufacturer's warranty. If, on completion of the service call, the problem is found to be with the kit or due to a faulty installation this fee will be refunded immediately and in full. If the problem is found to be the handset or vehicle or anything other than the car kit or installation the cost of the service call will be met in full by the customer.
Refunds / Exchanges
We are happy to refund / exchange equipment supplied for installation provided we are notified within 14-days of delivery and the goods are in their original condition and sealed packaging. Unfortunately once a car kit has been installed we are unable to offer a refund / exchange on parts or labour. Any difference in price will be charged or debited to the original Credit or Debit card before the exchange goods are dispatched.
Compensation
Atlas Personal Communications Ltd believe we offer the best service available in our industry and will make every effort to ensure the promises we make are met. Should an engineer or a delivery be delayed due to matters out of our control we are in no way obliged to provide compensation. Should damage occur to a vehicle during an installation this must be demonstrated to the engineer before they leave site. All of our engineers are fully qualified and insured to work on any vehicle and should genuine damage occur the cost of rectification will be met in full.
