Group Conferencing

When you need to hold a quick meeting or can't meet face to face — get together with Group Conferencing.
Note: If you're a Best for Business or Mobile Extension customer, you need to add a 9 before keying the numbers marked with an asterisk.
With Group Conferencing you can set up a meeting immediately, there's no need to travel for hours to get into the office or to your customer's premises. Simply text the time, the number to call, and the access code to up to 19 other people.

Useful information about using Group Conferencing:

  • To register for Group Conferencing for the first time, key 2255 SND * free from your mobile then key 4 to register with an operator - you'll be given a PIN number. You only need to register if you want to chair calls.
To access a conference call:
  • From your O2 mobile - key 322 *
  • From your landline phone - key 07720 322 322
  • If you're abroad - key +44 7720 322 322
If you are the chairperson then input your PIN followed by #.

If you are a participant then input the chairperson's mobile number followed by #.
Once this is done, record your name (key 2 to accept) then wait for the chairperson to join the call.
You need to be an O2 customer to chair Group Conferences, but anyone can join them from any mobile or fixed line phone, and from anywhere in the world as long as there is roaming coverage at their location.

How much does it cost?

12.77p (15p) per minute at all times. There's no need to worry about what time you want to have your conference call.

Using Group Conferencing abroad

You can use the service abroad, wherever O2 has a roaming agreement. If you use your mobile, you'll be charged as per a call to a UK mobile.
