Using Voicemail 901 abroad

To listen to your messages when you go abroad, you need a Voicemail Retrieval Number (VRN). To get your VRN all you need to do is call 91780 – it’s a free call when made from the UK. We’ll send your VRN as a text message to save in your mobile’s phonebook, as you will need it later. When you want to listen to your voicemail overseas you need to:
  • Key your Voicemail Retrieval Number.
  • Interrupt the greeting by keying * and then enter your voicemail PIN (you will have chosen this when you started using Voicemail, if not the default is 8705).
  • Key 2 to listen to your messages.
You can key 901 to retrieve your messages in some countries. We’ll let you know by sending you a text once you have arrived at your destination.
