If you're often abroad, you may want to opt for International Call Saver, which gives you savings of up to 60% on the standard rate. It only costs an additional £2.50 per month and is free with some of our price plans. And, don't forget it's always cheaper to use a Vodafone preferred network.

We've also introduced a new free text service that allows you to send a text to the shortcode '4636' with the country you wish to know the charges for and you'll get a free text back in return with the charges that apply.

How to use

For example, if you want to know the charges that apply to Spain:

• Text 'from Spain' to the shortcode '4636'
• You'll get a text back telling you:
• The cost to make a call from Spain
• Receive calls from Spain
• Send a text to UK numbers
• The name of the Vodafone preferred rate network (in this case Vodafone)
